Let the Interrogation Begin!!
1. What's the best part about working at Lenny & Larry's?
Just the environment and the people you get to work with. It's very comfortable and there's always something new and exciting going on even in Accounting.
2. What's your favorite Lenny & Larry's product and why? How do you eat it?
2oz Chocolate Chip Complete Cookie. Why? Because it's the right portion amount and who doesn't like Chocolate Chip?! I eat it with a hot chai tea latte.
3. What do you like to do when you're not here counting things?
Either spending time with family, my dog, or working out.
My dog's name is Bruce (after Bruce Wayne) and he's a pitbull mixed with boxer. I usually do some cardio by running with him and also kick out for Taekwondo, which means we kick targets, do drills, and sometimes spar. It's cool because you get to work out with a range of people from 14 year olds to 32 year olds.
4. What are you passionate about? What excites you?
Music. I enjoy the different genres and how it can bring people together. I like to listen to Alternative Rock, Rock, Rap.....
My top bands and artists are Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Two Door Cinema Club, Capital Cities, Muse, Outkast, oldschool Jay Z, Biggie, Kaskade...
5. What's something cool you would like to see for Lenny & Larry's in the future?
We're almost everywhere now in the US but I'd really like to see us expand more internationally. One day, I'd like us to be at the point where if I'm traveling anywhere out of the country to say, a random city in China, that you could find us there....pretty much in every major city. I always see our fans on our social media asking when we can get our cookies to their country or city....so the demand is definitely there!
6. What were you like in high school?
Quiet and nerdy. I basically went in and went out. I didn't really socialize...I did do Track and Field but my focus was mainly on my training for Taekwondo and my studies. Track was just a way to get a little more conditioning and exercise.
7. How did you get into Taekwondo?
My older brother started Taekwondo when he was around 10 and I wanted to follow in his footsteps but my parents made me wait until I turned 6. I've been training ever since...about 20 years.
8. What's one piece of career advice that you would like to give?
I tell this to everybody: Networking is an important thing whether you're in high school or in college. Be social with others because opportunities are out there and most opportunities come through some type of already established relationship.
9. What's one part of your daily routine you just can't do without?
Working out. It's where I get to relax and relieve all my stress.
