CommunityLenny & Larry's would love to support most causes but helping children, supporting cancer research and supporting our Military, are at the top ofour list. Alex's Lemonade StandWe were contacted by a group in Andover, KS about donating Muscle Brownies® for a group of golfers raising money for: www.alexslemonade.org. We were so touched by what this amazing little girl did in her 8 short years; we jumped at the chance to help. We hope in the future we can contribute to this foundation that is committed to finding a cure for childhood cancer. Please take the time to read about Alexandra "Alex" Scott and Alex’s Lemonade Stand.Challenge AspenThe Challenge Aspen International Paralympics Committee (IPC) Alpine World Cup contacted us about donating our cookies for the participants and volunteers of this great event on Aspen Mountain. Over 80 skiers representing 15 countries experienced what makes this event so special. The Challenge Aspen mission: “making possibilities for people with disabilities.” Feels great to give to such a worthy cause!United States Marine CorpWe received an email from a brave Captain in our USMC. He was only looking to order Muscle Brownies and see if we shipped product to FPO addresses, specifically to Afghanistan. As the old saying goes; “his money is no good here!” We shipped Muscle Brownies to him and his fellow Marines as a small gesture to say THANK YOU for all you do for us and our country. We are working on a program called ‘MUSCLE BROWNIES FOR THE MILITARY.’ Semper Fi Captain!![]() ![]() US ARMY I met an incredible young man on a flight to North Dakota who was going home for some R&R and to meet his new son. He serves in the US Army, stationed in Afghanistan. I was so taken and impressed by this soldier’s courage, respect and dedication to his country and his family. They way he spoke with conviction and how he and his fellow soldiers were helping the people of Afghanistan. Such selflessness! When this young soldier found out I was a former American Gladiator, he wanted Cyclone’s autograph. I quickly told him HE was the real hero and I only wanted to talk about him, not me. I gave him my business card (and an autograph) and asked him to please contact me when he returned to Afghanistan. Happy to report…he did! Lenny & Larry’s sent the troops some Muscle Brownies and these amazing men stopped for a quick pic to flex their muscle! It’s the little things that make people happy. Please don’t forget our military men and women and do what you can to put a smile on their face. God bless them all for their sacrifices as we can’ t thank them enough.
